Design-Build Delivery for a New Firehouse
CCM assisted the owner with the contractor selection process for this design-build project. After the design-build team had been engaged and construction had started, CCM was asked to serve as the owner’s representative throughout the construction, close out and warranty phases of the project. The new $4.4 million, 24,000-square-foot facility has four individual dorm rooms for live-in firefighters, two communal bunkrooms, a larger gym, expanded office space, a meeting room, kitchen and cafeteria area. The new station also features energy-saving measures such as motion-activated LED lights and radiant heat flooring.
