A New Home Preserves a Community’s Past
The York County History Center, slated to open in 2024, will anchor the city’s existing history campus and serve as a major cultural and community resource in downtown York. The new $28 million museum will allow for more frequent rotation of exhibits and artifacts, leverage advances in technology, and better meet evolving educational needs. Capital Construction Management is serving as the owner’s representative throughout the design and construction phases of the project. In addition to maintaining control over the schedule and budget, CCM secured the services of the civil engineering and Construction Manager at Risk professionals who will ultimately deliver the project.
