Adaptive Reuse of an Iconic Community Structure

The Hershey Press Building was built in 1916 by Milton Hershey to house the printing presses for his chocolate company. Over the years, it was adapted for many uses, last serving as a department store before it was vacated. In 2004, Hershey Entertainment and Resorts undertook the repurposing of this historic structure into their corporate headquarters. The facility also houses several restaurants. Capital Construction Management provided owner’s representation and overall program and construction management for this renovation.
