Capital Construction Management represented Penn Square Partners in the construction of the $178 million convention center complex in downtown Lancaster that includes a 300-room, full-service Marriott hotel and 90,000 square feet of combined meeting and convention space. After outgrowing their original Harrisburg, PA, location, Tröegs Brewery elected to convert a former Hershey Company warehouse/manufacturing facility into their new state-of-the-art brewery. CCM was hired by the landlord as the owner’s representative to oversee the tenant improvements during the conversion. The mechanical and electrical engineering and construction was completed using a design-build contract, while the general trades work was completed through a general contractor. Our responsibility was to ensure that the entire project team remained coordinated, on schedule, and on budget.
